Anyway to block finance going through?

Hi folks..

Is there anyway to ensure any credit check or finanace applied is declined? I'm in an awkward situation where someone I know asked me to apply finance in my name and its a sore head...

I'm hoping it wouldnt go through anyway due to the debt I already have and current financial climate but still want to be sure.

What's the max tthreshold debt you can have? Is it 25k

Surely you can just ring them and say you no longer want it. Have you signed any contracts?

Tell him your maxed out. Simple. Taking debt for someone else is risky business unless you trust them to pay back everything.

You say its an awkward situation but tbh if you don't want to take on this debt then tell them. Are they planning on paying back this loan or are you giving them the money ?

It's better to grow some balls and tell them where to go. If you are that against getting the money you've obviously sussed out why you shouldn't be doing it, and if it's because you know they will let you down they obviously don't give a toss about you so don't feel bad about refusing it.

Just edit the email saying you were turned down . Easy as 123 they will never know it's edited , judge judy always believes an email , lm sure they will

If your being guarantor to the loan then if they don't pay the payments then it could be on your head!!!
