if like me you lost your cordyline in the harsh winter i might have some good news for you.
i had 4 cordyline from 1 year old to 10 years old which suffered badly during the severe frosts and started to rot and stink vile, so i cut them down to the ground thinking i would dig them out later. well today i started to dig one of the smaller ones out and found that even though the stump was rotten when i dug down about 6-8 inches there was a new shoot starting to grow from the main root,so if you have one of these plants just cut them down to ground and they should regrow
