    A rant about IKEA

    So the Wife notices a good offer on the IKEA website last night, she checks stock and they have 32 items in stock.

    Today before we set off, we check stock and they have 19 items in stock.

    Just as we arrive at IKEA she checks stock levels on her Android and it tells us they have 14 items in stock.

    We search all over the place and find no stock.
    We ask a member of staff and he informs us that all stock had sold out by 11am!

    WTF?!

    As we are leaving we check stock again - out of curiosity - and they now have 9 items in stock!!

    IKEA has shit stock tracking.

    They are getting 40 units tomorrow, I'll be there before they open.

          Not telling you incase you buy the last one.

          It was a double set of drawers for the kids room.

          Reduced from IIRC ?150 to ?40.

          My brother has the same set and he is very happy with them - but he paid full price.

              Please be more calm and patient

              They must have sth. in stock

              Here in Poland IKEA is just doing great job. They have a nice selection - but the prices are from the Moon.

              But in general you are right.

                      I live near an IKEA and I hate the place.never again will I follow the stupid arrows and think there is no way out..

                                  you can have your breakfast whilst you are there . I know what you mean about the stock though, had a few occassions when checked for things and not there when shown as in stock.
