There is, or used to be a website called paypalsucks.com
And there is many stories like this. As regards them taking money from your bank, according to one person, they can, it is in the eula that you agree too. I must admit, I never read any eula, so cannot say if it is true or false, but the transaction you describe is quite common.
I still use paypal myself, and have had no problems, but never say never.

pay pal are nutters

had loads of issues with pay pal they are a load of nutters did the buyer leave you any feedback at least to say thanks hope u get some result from police this is totaly theft
