    My daughters school report

Got my daughters school report on monday, usual stuff.
Her grades in reading blew me away.
shes 8 and in year 3. According to education guidelines, the average grade for a year 3 student is 2a or 3c..
My daughters grade is 4C.. thats the average grade for a year 6 student

Nice one mate, its weird how when you have weans, stuff like this, that makes you proud and happy but when you were a kid you couldn't care less.

Our 1st just received her 1st nursery report and it was a nice feeling.

              Nice one shady.

You should perhaps compose a new song in her honour.

My Son who is 16 wasn't interested in school in the slightest. He could not be bothered with it and mopped around the house acting like 'Kevin and Perry'.

Then he met his new girlfriend and suddenly he has turned into a normal person! His grades have all shot up, within a year he has passed all his Standard Grades and is returning to school after the holidays to sit his Highers.

All this from a lazy emo kid who just over a year ago was languishing at Foundation and General levels.

dont think the number of marbles would matter then

Children in my school normally leave with a grade 5C which is pretty good, so for your daughter to be 8 and a grade 4c is very impressive. If she keeps that up at this rate then she will have no problem achieving a grade 5a when she leaves
in year 6. You must be very proud of her. I wish my year 3 had as good a grade as your daughter. Sending my congratulations to her.

Well done to your Daughter for getting those grades. Even more well done if you live in England where English is rapidly becomming the second language. Mind you, my friend arrived from India 6 months ago and is now living in Newcastle. He has already picked up fluent Polish.
