Well 3 days on and haven't smoked any roll ups and the standard tobacco flavour that they come with has grown on me, awaiting delivery of some amber leaf juice, but for anyone wanting to pack up smoking this is definitely the easy way

Well done mate trial n error with juices pal I have had loads,just an heads up here, I like- caramel,ry4,cocomel,french vanilla these are the ones I run out of quick

I would definitely recommend ecigs as an alternative to smoking especially if your on patches or gum etc and it's not working well as my sig says I have been off the fags and I am so not bothered about tobacco

I would say if you get an ecig get one with good battery life with a spare battery like the one I have. Which is a riva or get an ego etc not a cheap one because cheap ones tend to rely on 1 battery and purchasing expensive cartridges...get refillable carts/cartomisers and choose your own juices cheers Micky. Amber leaf juice arrived today (from ok smokey), it's not amber leaf flavor but very nice and loads better than the naff Mary jane or the standard one supplied with the e cig, just ordered a few 5ml samples for ?3 each (postage free) from paradise vape (1 x Raspberry 1 x RY4 Caramel 1 x creme de cafe 1 x Irish Cream 1 x Flu Cured Tobaco), hopefully find some nice new tasty ones mmmmmmm!

Got my VIP e cigarette today, its fatter and longer than a king size cigarette with a glowing red end when you draw on it and until the battery died at 4pm had not smoked any rollups!, it gives off a lot of smokey vapour and has a strong throat hit but not anywhere near as tasty as my usual cutters choice baccy, when I've killed this first cartomizer I'll try out the Mary Jane juice and report back
Ok tried the mary jane and it tastes sh*te

Always better getting a manual battery,there will be a button on it you decide how much and when ,also manual batts are sealed and less chance of ~~~~ing the batt up with juice seeping in it.
Best thing is manual battery and your own refillable cartridges or cartimisers..then you can drip your own juices,or if your into DIY you can make your own juices and drip them the possibilities are endless unless it all get banned because of government/tobacco companies etc,....in the end for anyone listening there is NoTHING worse than real cigarettes .with all the chemicals and tar,and passive smokin I could go on but ......I won't

We might have another convert, gmb tried mine and liked my amber leaf flavour, got my sample packs today, so far raspberry juice is favorite, need to find a good way to flush out cartomizers that have bad e juice in them, tried pouring boiling water through them and blowing through with a foot pump but it doesnt get it all out

Cartomisers are real hard to clean I wouldn't bother trying get some refillable tips.
also drip tips are good for testing juices but you need the "manual battery" for that ! ,save the carts for juices you love and make sure they are soaked properly there are some good guides on youtube,using the rubber cover(condom), you fill this about half way then take lid off cart and slowly push down into the condom watching the juice come up through the centre( again better with sealed batts) let it soak in slowly-if done wrong you will burn the cart out(not good).if automatic batts just drip down sides at top and take time let it soak ,this is a 10 min job then a cart could last 2weeks just topping up but need to make sure the wick as soaked properly.

Micky, Just ordered a riva 1100 and some giantomizers as getting through at least 2 battery charges a day and 1&1/2 cartomizers with the VIP e cig, the riva and giantomizer hopefully should last all day and then some

Ok, enough research, decision made, this is what I am ordering at the end of this week.

I quickly decided I didn't want to be limited to one type of vaping, so I am going to try the tank system and the duel core cartomisers,
after chatting to a few of the regulars at e-cig-reviews, there seems to be no consensus on the best system so going to try both and decide from there.

saw dik the other day and he let me try is vip fag, brilliant is the only way i can describe it, the taste was brilliant ( the kick in the throat you get from normal fags ) and the "smoke" you get from it made it just like a real fag ( apparently its the same as the fog stuff thats used on stages ) i was very impressed with it. if they made a stella tasting one i might even give up drinking

gmb, if you are going to change over to vaping, (electronic cigarettes) the juice I'm using is the amber leaf DF (double flavour) 18mg nicotine from oksmokey, and even if there was a WB flavour you know neither of us would be giving up the stella!.It's now been 2 weeks on these and not smoked a real cigarette, this is not like packing up the fags it's like changing your brand of cigarette! and I'm already coughing much less and the misses says my snoring has reduced massively.

tshirtman, looks like you have done the research and are getting some nice kit, cant wait for my new riva 1100 and giantomizers to come, constantly recharging batterys and refilling cartomizers is a pain
Now we will also NEED a 901 type as well as our 510's as the 901 apparantly gives more flavour but less throat hit, this hobby is going to be costly! now off to oksmokey to get some drum flavour juice and another bottle of amber leaf and a larger bottle of rasberry juice!

tshirtman, you could save a few quid by going for the set up I bought - you won't be dissapointed, looks like the difference is the batter level lcd and the tank - the 1100 ma battery should last at least a day so running low shouldn't be a problem, and with the giantomizers you will also have a sort of tank system plus they have built in atomizers (which are semi disposable) - just a heads up m8
