Trying to get my head round this CNC CAD CAM crap. Building a CNC router and already use Solidworks to do parts and assemblies. Being a tight git I still use Solidworks 2003 but suppose I could find a download for a newer version if necessary, not sure my Windo$e PC will run it though.
It seems that the path from Solidworks parts to actual G code is anything but straightforward, any recommendations or good reading online to enable me to get my head round it. Not averse to download links either if anyone is forthcoming with something useful.
