trouble sleeping

my boy is now 13 months and does not sleep that much nomore in the night so much anymore well some times me and the miss will get a good night where cammy will sleep all night then other nights he will sleep 5 hours the most. he has a few hours in the day but is that the problem??
have any of you guys had this problem befor if so how did you get you son/daughter to sleep all night.

We dont allow our 3 year old to sleep during the day. he's in bed for 8 everynight.. and he wakes up 7-8 everyday..

If we allowed him to sleep during the day he wont go to sleep till 10-11 and wakes up 6-7..

Every child is different so its trial and error..

I tried bells whiskey on my daughter but she just carried on, it didn't really effect her .. I was told when i was a baby i had the same treatment.. but thats going back a few year and is probably throwned upon.

Cure for all kiddy ails,Calpol,and a smidgeon of Teetha(Teethex ?) on the gums.Will help a lot !

most kids that age will do exactly the same with sleep/taking the mickey out of mom and dad.the key is..when they sleep ..you sleep. try to get them into a routine asap. if they cry..let em cry..don't pick em up coz the next time they cry they'll expect the same. attention seekers the wee dudes are. we found it heartbreaking to let the wee yin cry at first. after about a week of this it settled down and they realised we weren't coming to pick em up or even enter the room. obviously there is crying and crying. as in crying in pain or crying for attention. you soon get to know which is which.

i dont allow my boy to sleep during day but but every child is different for example my sister's daughter spi all night but also during the day can take a nap

yeah thats right...every child has different habit...maybe cause something make it happen that got trouble in sleep...if you think there is a problem...just go to a doctor to make sure whats happen

he can be going through a growth spurt too, so it could even be hunger again? it's all just trial and error. some babies take years before they sleep all night.

when baby bun wakes through the night, i bring him into our bed, although he is a really restless sleeper now. and he usually ends up sleeping a bit longer

Our little jumbe I used to use high pressure fire brigade hose to wake him up every morning except sat and sun.

I wonder he was taking me for a ride or not remains a mystery.

Don't let them sleep during the day if possible they are then more likely to sleep through the night

OFF TOPIC:-

I just can't get up in the mornings - blame my Dad - because remember when younger it was always "Go back to bed - it's to early to get up" - now don't get up till at least 10am on days off - but could easily get out of house for 7am for some ~~~~er else!

he is doing very good thank you, he is allmost walking now he can hold on to you then he lets go and stand on his own so cameron will be walking very soon cant wait me
