    Saving the contents of a thread/post

    Please guys need your help again , I have found some info consisting of several pages in a post that I want to save to my laptop for offline reference , is there a way to use Prt scr and paste in paint ? thanks , regards

    #2
    1) PRINT SCREEN then go to paint - then select paste
    2) top of page - select file - then save as
    3) select quote (that post) - cut and paste into notepad

      File, Save as, whateveryouwanttocallit.html

      it will save a folder next to it containing all the images so dont delete it.

          Cant get it to paste several pages, what am I doing wrong ?

              Copy what you want open notepad paste it save it job done..............

                just highlight the relevant text and copy to wordpad.

                  Download and install CutePDF (free)

                  Then on your browser go to print select CutePDF as your printer. Hit print and you will have a PDF format of the page.

                        Another method I use to save information when there's no images on the page is to

                        Select: Thread Tools > Show printable Version

                        Select File from your web browser (I'm on Firefox)
                        Save as ... select Web Page Complete.

                        It's in my opinion a quicker method... plus you end up with a direct link to DK's web page if you want to check later on for any updates to the thread when online..

                        If there's images on the page that you want to keep, then it's just a click on image and save image into the same folder...
