Supermarket Robots

Was in a Morrisons supermarket today, am pretty sure they're employing robots on the checkouts now... There was a guy in front of me, he had a loaf of bread and a tin of peas, as the girl started to slide his two items down to him she asked "Do you need any help with your packing sir"

Last time I experienced this level of android customer service was in McDonalds, when I ordered a Big Mac & Fries, only to be asked "would you like fries with that sir"

Anybody else any experience of robotic customer service they'd like to share?

I lived in America for a while and was using a Drive Thru Mc Donalds. When I ordered my meal the guy on the mike asked what my accent was. I pointed out it was Scottish and he said " Cool man, have you ever lived there? "

Missus asked me to get a tin of peas in local supermarket and to get their own brand peas, and then she told me to go to the express checkout because I would have only one item.
I was in and back out in two minutes flat and couldn't help but think -now there's a woman who knows her P's and Q's.

I think we got some foreign unprogrammed robots in our local KFC store.
Ordered a bargain bucket...& for the life of me, just could not understand a word the young girl was saying.
Don't even know if she was spealing English. Had to point my finger at the end to get my order.

Jesus ! Had something like this today in KFC !

The guy was of Arabic looking origin.Hadn't a ~~~~ing clue whether he was reading the Koran to me,or just telling me to ~~~~ off.

Had to tell him to slow right down,no-one understands him.

Turns out he was trying to(This gets on my ~~~~ing tits,with retail staff) upsell all the usual like sides,etc.I politely told him I'm standing in front of him and the bloody large menu above and behind him.If I want something,I can see it.

Man,it must have been killing him to smile as he gave me my order(No funny tastes in the meal.Phew !!)
