These are DOUBLE INSULATED with NO EARTH connection.

Which means when the metal pole it is on shakes in the wind enough
times the LIVE wirez inside will rub on the aluminum deflectir making it live.

HERE is a nice example of a faulty light, rather than one with no earth as standard.

inshort some kid was permantly dead because of a fault, these have no earth on purpose.

Great light output but unsafe, remove silly connector, screw in gland nut, use one of the internal scew points for an earth.
