Touch screen phones are pretty much all you'll find now (other than Doro's granny grabbers). The general rule on touch screens is... the more you spend the better it works.
There is a blackberry style htc out there called the cha-cha. Don't really know much about it as I'm too lazy to google a review of it.
But the Galaxy Ace, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Nexus & soon to be released Galaxy S3 all have good touch screens that do what you want when you want.
Stay away from Nokia's with touch screens... they are notorious for developing faults. The Nokia C range don't have touch screens, but they are also a load of shite.
Sony Ericsson couldn't make a good phone if it was handed to them on a golden plate by God. Apple are the reborn Third Reich of the mobile industry. Don't really know what motorola have done since the release of the Atrix... Lots of compatability issues. Shame really as it is the most powerful phone out there.
