    Do you answer witheld numbers

Do you answer witheld number calls or unknown number as my phone indicates them.
I will not pick them up as they are usually cold calls from advertising companies wasting my time.
the important people know my mobile number.

Same here, never answer a call with a withheld number. ususlly its someone selling something or wanting something.

I have two mobiles, one for family & friends & other for everyone else.

On some land line providers, you can request that if someone calls you with their number withheld, your phone will not ring & the called informed to call back without withholding their number.
SLOWLY, OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ERASED.
SOON, WE WILL JUST BE A NUMBER.
IF WE DON'T FOLLOW, WE WILL BE ERASED.

BT have stopped witheld numbers ringing us on our landline, but there is a charge for it. However international calls that are witheld still get through and so do some cold callers from companies usually them annoying pre-recorded answer phone messages tha ring you.

I never used to, used to leave them, would get them for months and just ignore them, then one day I did and it was a customer asking what had happend to me and why I was not answering call's, I found out she was dialing a prefix that went through a different system so she could get cheap calls, also if you have skype out and you call a mobile it come up witheld or unknown

                        Hi,
I THINK ifyour number is normaly displayed, -
prefix the number you are dialing with 141 and it will withold your number for that one instant.

If you automaticaly withold your number preffix with 1470 and it will show your number that one time.

Handy to know if its correct.

It depends with me. If I'm expecting a call, say from the doctor, I do answer.

After that it all comes down to my mood. My latest thing is to wind up those PPI claims people. They usually say they are calling about my accident..... What ~~~~ing accident! My god have I been in an accident?! I don't remember it!!! Sh!t... How bad was it....

At this point I'm usually trying to get myself upset... or at least sound seriously confused & hysterical.

I've never had one stay on the line long

I always answer them. I am waiting for a call from a window company so I can get someone round to quote me on a new conservatory (I live in a top floor flat). I want to see how they like me wasting there time.

I've got an app on my Samsung Galaxy S2 that blocks withheld numbers and private calls.. I'm never bothered by them.. In the settings I can choose to block them completely or send to voicemail (which is what i do)
