Track DHL Express Shipments taxes

Shipment held - Available upon receipt of payment

When we buy items used for home use only not commersian the dhl ask to pay for the country taxes, I find this very wrong.

If you buy same item with none dhl delivery shipment you do not have to pay the govt taxes.

Could some one comment why only dhl ask for taxes?

you're SUPPOSED to pay import tax on most things.. just becasue dhl follow the law and other companies dont how is that DHL's problem? next time use a different delivery method

I wish it was the tax revenue they were paying into it would not have bothered me, I just rang them and asked them to give me a receipt for tax purposes because I am running my own business and they said we do not give receipt you can pay from your credit card or pay cash on delivery that?s your receipt.

Would you think they would be giving that money to UK tax revenue without receipt, I don?t think so and that?s the problem you should be asking instead paying the money into the fatcat pocket.

Newer in my life I will use DHL.

but word on street says dhl 'cant' collect vat on your behalf

if it is vat bill *THINK* you can pay vat man direct and demand dhl download your goods
