I should of really posted in the PC section but wasn't sure and i thought more people will read in this section!! My daughter has cracked her HP Netbook Screen i think its 10.1 how much should it cost to get fixed? and is it easy enough to do yourself? Thanks All

google model number put screen at end of search,should find loads of diff prices,might even be worthwhile getting same netbook of ebay that is broken but good screen,just make sure its same,as some models have diff. screens due to backlights etc.it can be changed by diy,not to hard a job.most are just a few screws and couple of bezels to remove,and around 4 plug fittings.plenty of instructios on web,just take your time.and place what you remove like a jigsaw,put back in reverse. -
A brand new screen might only be about 30 quid. Having a shop do the replacement for you would probably cost you at least 100 quid all in.. So as ray said, would be worthwhile doing it your self, there's probably a step by step guide on youtube..Comment
