    Easyjet rip off

Was on easyjet website on thursday, was booking flights to Barcelona for Celtics Champions league game the dates had just been released and the flights were ?66 rtrn, had to confirm with my son, couldn't get hold of him at that time, went back on easyjet last night, exact same flights ?336 rtrn that is taking liberties and is obviously because of the match. rtrn flights the day after the game are back down to ?70 crooked basts

Can't agree with that, supply and demand is fine ripping people off is extortionate a 540% price hike is scandalous and can only be described as gangsterism, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask

They didnt just hike the prices because they realised there would suddenly be a demand, the seats obviously began selling fast... They start low, and then rise in price as the plane fills up. If you're the unlucky passenger buying the last available seat you could be paying 10x what the first ticket sold for... Its the same for every flight...

I was aware of that but thanks for pointing it out, others may not have known. I cleared cookies and also tried using a proxy, they still tried to rip me off, thankfully I got flights with Aer Lingus at a 3rd of the cost sleazyjet charged.

EasyJet and all the other "low cost" airline sell the first 10-15 seats at the low cost and then increase the price on each seat sold after to off-set the cost of the low cost seats...............Standard Practice.
It is basically the same as loss leaders in a supermarket, had you booked straight away you would have got the cheap flights.
Why not try another nearby destination and drive or go by train the rest of the way ?

Cheap flights are just a rip off the first few are cheap then the prices take off and runway up in the air!!
