petrol station pumps

I often joke how the pumps are set up to always go an extra penny when you stop filling. Today I didn't bother trying to get a "round pound" and released the trigger bang on ?29.99. As I put the handset back in it's holder the display jumped to ?30.01. The checkout operator said "it's not the first time" and handed me 2p from the till. 2p not really an issue but could it be the pumps are fixed or was that just a glitch?

Thats funny because i coudve swore today i put ?10.00 in and when i got to till she said ?10.01.

They go to the gas stations and measure the amount of gas you get - they are random - was robbing a gas station and they turned up to measure the amount of gas they dispensed.

I went over 2 pence once, I told them I will give you that money when I fill my tank next time or else find a way to take that drop of petrol worth 2 pence and the attendance said ffsfo??

In America it's the Indian owned gas stations that rig the pumps. Their was one guy in Brooklyn who had a remote system that tricked the pumps. So lets say some elderly person or a women came in they would hit the remote and the the pump would be set to rip off mode. It's always the immigrants sad to say that want to rip you. if it ain't at the pump it short changing you a nickel or a dime at 7-11. It adds up at the end of the year. If they get caught they run back to where they came form then enter again under another name. In short don't trust anyone.

i always find fuel left in the nozzle so pick it up carefully n pour in and also then press the trigger quickly to open the valve and pour again before the machine starts pumping

put handle in then turn upside down for best results
