Well as this thread is about downloads, i would like to make it
110% clear that my ONE download was a GENUINE mistake.

I clicked something by accident - no idea what it was - then - got a count of ONE - do regretit

Would *NEVER* have clicked it realised what was going to happen.

If we are looking for members with the most downloads, would like to add this member

that wasn't the question and so what about downloads is'nt that what we are here for to help folk out 60 per cent of my downloads were helping other folks am not ashamed little embarrassed maybe

been using torrents in particular demonoid which got done over
went to download at the weekend on me mates bb and didnt no where to download from
eventually leeched from some place

and off topic but kinda on topic wheres that ivan chap who used to put so many downloads in the download sections seems to have dissapeared

rapidshare normally for me. i do download music quite a lot. used to use torrents but got sick of d/l stuff that wasnt what it said it was. a nice man on wod once showed me nzb via msn but i got confuzzled and never got the hang of it.

you have to use everything at your disposal.

1. NZB's if its a new file and i can grab it with the free server from vermin, but this has only 30 day retention.

2. If its older then i look for a torrent, cause i ain't paying for a server with better retention.

3. If both fail then i will try direct links, they are fine for small files but no good for anything large, so a last resort for me..

Suppose i don't give a shit as long as i ain't paying...

most only post in section if others grabbing, i used to upload constantly music and post, no one was intrested so stopped posting and post elsewhere, were its appreciated.

ACCESS TO THIS IP ADDRESS RELATING TO THE PIRATE BAY WEBSITE HAS BEEN BLOCKED
WHY?

On the 24 July 2009, an Order was made by the High Court requiring eircom to block or otherwise disable access by its subscribers to the website thePirateBay.org, its related domain names, IP addresses and URLs. The Court was satisfied that on the basis of the evidence presented by the record companies that the PirateBay website is a website that facilitates the exchange of copyrighted sound recordings without the consent of the copyright owners.

eircom recognises the legitimate rights of the owners of copyrighted material and believes that individuals who share or download copyrighted material without the authorisation or the permission of the copyright owner are acting illegally.

The Order further provides that should the PirateBay website content be legitimatised in the future, then eircom has liberty to apply to the Court to have the Order vacated and access to the PirateBay website enabled.

eircom in compliance with the Order has agreed that access to the website the PirateBay.org, its related domain names, IP addresses and URLs from the eircom network will be blocked indefinitely from the 1st September 2009.

eircom would like to reassure customers that:

eircom will not monitor customer***8217;s activities at any stage, nor will it place any monitoring equipment or software on its network in order to facilitate this block.
eircom will not provide personal details or any information relating to customers to any third party, including the record companies.
