I'm thinking the exact same, I blagged a free tivo box off them last year, and I wish I hadn't, what a pile of shit the tivo box is, 6 minutes to boot up, everything on it takes an age to use, even deleting programs takes about a minute per show,

BT laid there fiber-optic cables earlier this year and it's due to be rolled out in the new year, so that will be me off to them,

Bransons even helping the Tory's to privatise the NHS through the back door, by starting his own private GP services, and taking over NHS GP services in many areas. the blokes a first class CU*T.

A never liked Branson and a could never understand why this clown is such a icon, its nothing to do with his success, a just can't stand the guy.
He always tried to get a persona of being the alternative business guy and all action hero, a just thought he was a rich boy with toys.
His plan is usually the same, enter into a established market with a product that is a little cheaper bearing the mighty Virgin brand, give a second rate service and make more money.
The F1 team was a good laugh, especially when they built a car with a fuel tank that couldn't finish the race, another throttled product....

Virgin Media just pi** me off more and more each month, constant price increases for no good reason, they tell the public that they double broadband speeds free which is a laugh when they enforce one of the biggest increases after the upgrade which makes it a kinda forced upgrade.
Just seems to never end, if any decent competition come along i will drop them like a hot brick....

Ah but at least you have the choice of VM or whatever you want, even though it's the price that drives you. I get no choice for telephone or ISP, I have to have the same one and they do take advantage of that.

On the VM side for TV, I seem to recall the deal with Sky is that VM will always cost ?2 a month more than Sky, so it may not just be Richards fault......
My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.
