i have 2 nieces aged 5 & 7 and i'm thinking of getting them a karaoke machine for christmas has anybody here got one for their kids they can recommend i presume i need discs (i have cds but mostly punk and i dont think learning them bodies by the pistols would go down well) any good deals around i dont want something cheap and nasty hopefully get one with a few up to date disks for ?50-60.

Have they got a wii? as my nieces have got one and have a dance and karaoke game and they love it, plus the bonus is they can play games as well. You have to think how many times are they going to use the karaoke machine. Sorry i will rephrase that how many times are there parents going to allow them to use it?? before it does there head in

get one with a line in.. they can d/l cdg tracks and use a pc or lappy etc and vlc.. all my daughters karaoke is done that way,
