    Fave 80's Films

    After the slck jawed thread and it reminding us of a film. wondering your fave 80's films

    mine are

    Robocop
    Howard the Duck
    Predator
    Goonies
    Commando

    to name but a few, whats yours?!!

    2. star trek
    3. star wars
    4. the abyss

        being a sci fi fan then gmb im presuming your looking forward to the new trekkie film?

        Alien was class as was first blood, fave line from first blood, is when Trautmen is interupts with " I trained him" then goes off about how much of a machine Rambo is!!

            am i just m8 cant wait i love all sci fi m8 more so space type films, lost in space, event horizon, forbidden planet (walter pidgeon) class, mission to mars, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

              oh loads prob. i love dirty dancing and pretty woman and ghost. (typical chick flicks i know) not sure if they are 80s or not (cant look up at work)

              also love action films and some martial arts etc.

                  The Kartae Kid is that classed as karate!!!

                    Good choices gb, but one that tops those in my opinion and one of thee best films of the 80's is .....Blade Runner.
                    A film I can watch over and over, the story, camera work and music were first class.

                    I'll have to have a think about some others.
                    I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.

                      hey pump hows it hanging m8, blade runner class m8, most of the classic sci fi films came form the late 70s-80s

                        Blade Runner very good, Rutger Hauers finist hour apart from The Guinness ads!!!

                          Too right. 1977 had Star wars and Close Encounters and 2 years later Alien.
                          Don't want to sound like an old fart but....they don't make em like they used to.
