What's happened to manners

Manners went when they did away with school punishment such as the Cane, Slipper, Strap etc...

I do not agree, I was a **** at school, got the cane and lines etc many times.

If I was given the choice of cane or writing several hundred lines, I would opt for the cane, was an easy 10 min punishment that didn't take up my free time like lines would.

I do agree that Manners is something that is lacking these days, but lack of caning is not the reason.

I think it comes from parents tbh but i think there is a lack of discipline all round. I remember getting cane when it was banned teacher took me in his office and pulled it fron behind filing cabinet. He didnt hit me hand or arse either he did it accross chest too the ****er

I usually got less than i deserved tbh but id never go home and tell parents about it as i knew id get twice as bad

Did you never hear of the old ,taping 4 bic pens together trick ? You could get lines from school til the cows come home,but you always got them done in ten or fifteen minutes !!!

for me its all down to the parents,we all copy what our parents do in general,and if you are taught right from wrong you are off to a good start in life..
