    Garden Thieves.

Can you believe the weekend before last, some kind person or people stole 3 good size garden pots and 2 millstones from my front garden. What sort of numpty does a trick like that????
They weighed a ton those millstones so they must have pulled up in a car or van and humped em in the boot....nobs
Some folks cant keep their slimy mits off other peoples stuff. I hope they hurt their back or summat or developed terrible hemorrhoids with the strain of lifting.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.

They were part burried in the soil, bang under me bedroom window too.
Maybe i should have secured em a bit better, but theyve been in there for about 15 years with no trouble. I know its no big deal as such but it proper does my head in knowing that some bugger was rooting about in me garden, under my bedroom window while i was kicking some zzzzz's out.

Cricky ?100....... Mine weren't half as nice as that one, but they looked OK in the garden.
Do yer know I got them about 24 years ago, we were building some houses on old farmland near chesterfield, the ground workers dug about 20 of em up while digging a footing.

So let me get this clear.

Once upon a time you had a windmill, that used these mill stones to make flour

then somebody presumably old expired worn out, buried 20 of them in a hole

then you took two home, and 24 years later they have gone.

So, there is one suspect and one suspect only ALICE

It's a bit late now, but if you have to replace them keep an eye on your garden with a wireless IP camera. Only about ?40 and you can have it send snapshots when it detects any movement.

Good idea..... Its the only probs ive had since living here though (16 years) so not really worth it.
Just had a thought... with an IP camera I could identify the cats that are crappin in me garden... Thats for another thread though.

A greyhound or lurcher will keep them on their toes.

My neighbours are plagued by cats in the garden, I'm not. Every time I see one in the garden I unleash my less than secret weapon...a lurcher/staff cross.
He beats them to the bottom of the garden & cuts off their escape route. Leaving them no choice but to try & climb a 6ft something fence while praying the lockjaws of my dog, that can clear a 6ft fence, don't catch 'em.

The look of blind panic & terror in their eyes is priceless.

                            OFF TOPIC:-

spend the money on a cat squirter. Or catch the cat and take it on vacation a MINIMUM of 10 miles away.
