Ok i work for a medium- large company.
Currently paper invoices get scanned using a cannon image forula DR-5010C and capture Perfect 3.0 in to a PDF document Which can contain around 100+ pages in one PDF document.
The invoices contain different font types and text sizes as they are third party invoices.
Anyways im searching for a OCR software solution or maybe a hardware+software solution which will enable me to scan 100s of invoices which contain different fonts ect all in english. I still want to have them in PDF format however would like a Searchable PDF document.
By having a pdf searchable document will make is much easier when looking for a specific invoice in a pdf document which contains say 200 invoices.
Any recommendations? So far i have been looking at Cvision, Nuance software and acrobat OCR
