To be honest the red I couldn't do it on a bike,im quite happy to stand outside our house(its on about the ten and a half mile mark) and wor lass has massive bowls of cut oranges for the runners,if all these people are putting themselves out big time to run for the charities its the least we can do is cheer them on you know...and by the way, youve got the mrs wanting to know what cupcaking is,ha...

I remember saying after it to people that it give me a lift cos i was dying at the time. Its rough that stretch and its a steady climb for miles

Could of been mrs grumbles oranges ha,she would love to be called a girl again mate, shes 60 now,she done the run in 1981 and she loved it.Our house is just as you come off the long long john reid road just before the shops and your right, its a hard steady climb the last few mile before the drop onto the coast road.I hear what your saying about taking the stuff offered off people as there is some nutters about but some of the reactions are really funny when they bite into a fresh orange piece when they are thirsty...cheers,let me know if your doing it again we can put a banner up for you with some choice words of encouragement on it..........
