    Ebay Problem

    Hello
I was recently permanently suspended from selling on Ebay after my account went 1 star out of there standard selling performance setting

I told them that they couldn't suspend my account due to the policy statement which has now been taken down

It said:- Your policy compliance is high and (you are not at risk of Ebay taking any action against your account)

I pointed this out to them and they pulled the policy of the site and banned my account

Now Ebay are running a website with no policy is that against the law?

I think they are updating the policy I received an email advising of such the other day. So yes they can be in the process of updating, that's legal. Just like every pothole you drive through in your car. The council legally have a few weeks to make the repair....always noticed the day before your complaint!?
I don't think your complaint will have that big effect on ebay business model ...respectfully your only small fry.
I am sorry how its effecting your trading hope you can get a quick resolution from ebay.....Going off the deep end and eff here and there won't help your case
keep calm, argue your case intelligently and with dignity then I'm sure you'll get there...I know its a bummer
    determination wins the prize

Ebay, paypal I never thought they had policy the only policy they had is to take your cash and banned you.

there is no possibility of my account being unrestricted this is permanent and you can not appeal against the decision - basically thankyou and **** you

They were not allowed to suspend my account in the first place as per policy agreement and when point it out they were contradicting themselves then took it down and banned my account without a policy inplace

i cannot open a new account at this address nor can i start a business that i was proposing on doing using ebay as my selling platform

aslo can ebay still demand u pay there fee's after you are banned?

They could demand anything they want... But that doesn't mean they are going to get it.

Empty your paypal account & remove all your bank details, or just close it down.

              Make a new one

              Use ccleaner to delete history

              Get a new IP address

Make up a new name and address and add a new bank account and your good to go

NEVER EVER LOG INTO OLD ACCOUNT AGAIN

                      Update:-

EBAY ARE TRYING TO SCAM ME!!!!

Your account has been put on hold because the balance on your eBay account hasn't been paid. You won't be able to list new items until you pay this amount.

To see this amount and a summary of your most recent invoice:
                      1. Go to "My eBay" at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
                      2. Click the "Account" tab.
                      3. Select the invoice you want from the "Invoices" drop-down menu on the right side of the page.

We'll reinstate your account as soon as we receive payment for the amount due. We accept payment by PayPal, credit card, or debit card.

                      Here's how to make a one-time payment:
                      1. Go to "My eBay" and click the "Account" tab.
                      2. In the "Payment methods for Seller Fees" section, click the "one-time payment" link.
                      3. Follow the instructions to complete your payment.

Once your payment has been received, our system will release the hold on your account and you'll be able to start selling on eBay again immediately.

If you've already made your payment, please disregard this message.

                      Regards,

                      eBay

So they are saying if u pay ur fee's ur account will be able to sell again
but i know if i pay my account will be still under there performance rating and i wont be able to sell

lets wait for another scam email or threatening email then im going to the newspaper and maybe to a no win no fee solicitor's

I'm not sure that their asking you to pay what you owe could be considered a scam.

That's a standard letter for outstanding accounts. It will allow you to buy again, but as you well know you won't be able to sell anything.

This happened to a friend. She had someone try to rip her off by claiming an item didn't arrive. Yet the second item, in the same package, did arrive. Ebay sided with the scumbag. So my friend emptied her paypal account & withdrew the DD authorisation before they could claim it back. She got similar emails.
