sorry to bother you with this, but after dvbmonkey does install kaos image on all their boxes, maybe some other users will see how they care about service...


02.07.08 purchased 1x Dream500S, arrived 3 days later, all ok.
15.08.08 purchased 5x Dream500S, arrived 12 days, boxes are running, some minor customs problems.
01.10.08 purchased 10x Dream500S, arrived 8 days later. customs want 78 euro, boxes are running.
03.05.09 purchased 20x Dream500S, 4 days later only 10 boxes arrived, 2 of them not running. no reaction on Email or Ticket System. After chargeback at Paypal the other 10 boxes arrived. still no reactiom on Email or Ticket System.
27.06.09 will not order 60x Dream500S at DVBMonkey.com...

Its a massive shame they don't just say, send the motherboard back(which i understand is just the innards of the box & therefore reduces shipping) and either ship it to you back at ur cost or with your next order for free.


Anyway, u mentioned chargeback, did paypal give u protection against the buyer, other people saying paypal don't outside of ebay.

Another question i have for anyone else reading. if i link my credit card to paypal, and pay the supplier in china through that. Will my credit card protection cover me on it?

OK, the chargeback to which ur referring is through your credit card company anyway as shown here paypal chargeback as far as i understand.

This is what i'll be doing anyway so even if i get a bunch of total duds or empty boxes i can do something about it.
