    Nanny state

Was thinking I may get a job

Went looking and this on the face of it fit the bill

    http://www.burnley.ac.uk/wp-content/...-HE-Eng-HF.pdf

Read it and no description of the job at all just a bunch of lefty mumbo jumbo about pastoral care, nothing about what you're teaching.

It strikes me that the job available on the above link is very similar to this one:

MARY POPPINS - THE PERFECT NANNY LYRICS

Maybe if they attached the second link they would get more of the sort of people they really want and the education system in this country can take another giant leap down the pan.

The problem is that the priorities for the schools and colleges aren't how good the teachers are or how well they will teach the kids, but how well they will perform on all of the difference assessment and performance tables. So they are more concerned about statistics and reports than the kids education.

There is also a similar comparison with what has happened to the NHS.
