What plant is this, do you know ??

I have been given this plant, iam not at all sure what type of plant it is although it does look a bit exotic and i know the owner brought it years ago from canary islands, he says it was a tiny little thing when he brought it over, not quite a seed but not far off it.

Anyway, look at the picture and tell me what it is please so that i can find out how to look after it, thanks.

          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

mayonaise is actualy better than milk, it makes the leaves all nice and shiny and it breaks down into less of a bacterial swimming pool so you avoid a lot of the problems of leaf rot.

Just make sure its kept watered and feed it occasionaly and you'll be fine.

Id also suggest that you slap it in a nice ceramic/terracotta pot. these regulate the humidity better and dont rapidly change temperature like plastics and metals do.

Or you can buy stuff in your local garden centre or diy store for making plant leaves shine.

Cut off the leaves and use it to wrap meat then cook. Might turn out a bit yukka though.
