    weekend in Dublin

i am off to dublin for this weekend and the weather forcast is glorious, yay!! we will do a bit of daytime culture but as its all lads going it will be mainly drinking copious amounts of the blackstuff. on saturday though we have managed to pick up tickets for the irish greyhound derby final night, now im not a gambler but do any of the you frequent shelbourne park? and even better still is there a way to beat the bookmaker there? or is it just a corrupt sport! as my dad used to say and i would be better to go with the tote?

its very pricey along Temple Bar, get yerself in St Gin Gogartys on Temple Bar and watch some of the Irish music performed live,

definitely sounds good ste as im into the live music scene rather than the disco type bars, although i will admit to liking some clubland music but only on my ipod. we'll try be aware of that leo but we are not all teenagers here, most of us are old gits

If your all oldies and you like food and dont mind paying, I highly recommend eating at The Clarence, Bono and The Edge's hotel, if you search about online there will be some discounted bookings somewhere my mrs and i went in Feb, and it was superb!!

One thing bout Temple bar is there strict with groups of people of any age also well on top with over serving folk with booze i.e if your staggering / sluring etc etc.
