    What was Your first Computer?

as the title says. Would be interesting what people had for their first computer. After all, if it wasnt for the first one we all had, we wouldnt all be here

Mine was a Amstrad CPC 464 with the Green Screen! POWER!

*I used to think it was really stupid how they made a Pool game called 'Blue Ribbon' you couldn't tell which ball was which as it wasn't a Colour screen

                THE TRUTH
                The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

i remember my mate's dad having a ZX81 with some text based adventure games on but my first COMPUTER was a Commodore 16 before getting a Speccy 48k, then a Plus 2 then an Atari ST and then an Amiga

althought i did get a grandstand games console before i got my Atari 2600, that must have been about 1980 :O

My first computer was the legendary Commodore 64, which, as stated, was the finest computer of its age (IMHO). For about 7 years I used it to do my college work, using Superscript, as well as gaming of course, before moving onto my first P.C. (compatible), in 1989, wich was an Amstrad 1640.

A mate had the zx81, and my dad heard a better one was coming out, ZX Spectrum, I thought it was a 128k but I might be mistaken.
