    new scam??

    just got this email

    Dear Field,

I am Anton Peters Esq, a legal practitioner practicing in the state of Lome in Togo. I am the family attorney to (Mr. F.Field),a national of your country. Mr. F.Field died with his family in an auto accident On the 10th of November,2005.

I have made several attempts to locate any of Mr.Field's relatives, all to no avail. I have contacted you to claim the estate of Mr. F.Field valued at US$9.5million since you share the same last name.

The bank has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have his funds pushed into the government treasury.Upon receipt of your response i will give you the details of this transaction.

I have all necessary paperwork required to back you up for the claim.

Note that this claim is legitimate.

Please confirm your name and contact telephone number and get back to me by email using my regular email address; ( [email protected] ) to enhance our communication.

    I await your prompt response,

    Have a Nice day.

    Best Regards,
    Anton Peters (Esq).

lmao, you think they could atleast try to scam harder.

I mean id personaly set up a private mailserver that would look like it was part of a lawfirm instead of "yahoo" then set up some forwarding numbers to my mobile and pc so it looks like your calling my lawfirm or its fax address when infact your just being redirected.

Id set up a legitimate postal address too (just look through the yellowpages for any lawyers) because how likely is it for someone to actualy snail mail you when you've provieded ample other avenues.but this way if they do a quick check they'll see a legit business as a front.

I mean come on how stupid are these people, sure theyre too lazy to get a real job, but that doesnt excuse them being too lazy even to propperly set up a grift.
