I just watched the craziest thing ive ever seen.
Big River Man, about some whacked out degenerate gambler, alcoholic, fat, old Croatian called Martin Strel who decided to swim the entire length of the Amazon River.
It starts off innocently enough, shows martin as an average? man, eating horse burgers, training, driving around drunk out of his head to his secret batcave provided by the government to discipline his mind and put him in "tune" to the animals so he wont get eaten...
Then discusses his other swims like the mississippi, the danube and the dirtiest river in the world the Yanyze in china where you see him swimming effectively in a river of shit surrounded by dead bodies...
Then it descends into complete madness, like Apocalypse Now kind of maddness, the further along the river they get the more insane things become, till eventualy hes tazering himself in the head with jumpleads and ranting about going to the 4th dimention whilst hugging trees in the buff... only to wind up with a sock pupeteer shaman in brazil???
Like i said things get a bit wild.
Still entirely worth getting hold of and checking out.
