Pleeeeease help someone!!!

Hey everyone, im looking for some help out there please. I recently got the internet at home after 3 years of being without it!!!! its a long story , but trust me, Spain isnt the best place to get the net....anyways, all my virus protection programmes are well out of date, every time i try to download new versions....AVG, Avast etc my browser tell me there is no internet connection and it will not display the page, i can surf the net no worries, just whenever i try to go to an anti-virus website it wont let me...like theres a virus stopping me.....ive tried going to c.net to try and get round the problem, i can download the exe. file, but when it comes to the install...same problem, cannot connect to server etc etc
Please does anyone have any ideas, the nearest place i can go and actually buy an anti-virus from a shop is miles away, so id rather try and download one

Cheers for the reply mate, i tried clicking the link...but as usual i get "page can not be displayed" i think the virus i have knows when im going to an anti-virus page, i downloaded the Avast from this site, and now i cant get winzip to install to get it on grrrr...any other ideas though??
