    WARNING about DVBSELLER

    Hi everyone,

I would like to offer a warning about dealing with DVBSeller in China. (Some may say if you deal with sellers in China you get what you deserve but that?s another issue). I ordered and eventually received a Dreambox from them. However it was faulty and I believe the tuner wasn?t working. DVB Seller told me to take the motherboard out and send it back to them and they would replace it. I sent it (international tracking) and they twice refused to accept delivery consequently it was sent back to the UK. When I have contacted them they have just given me excuses, when they have eventually responded. I am particularly frustrated because initially the unit wasn?t working, they promised to put it right, I had more expense sending it back to them and they clearly never intended to honour their promise in the first place! I will never trust them again, it?s been an expensive and time consuming exercise. Beware!

when you buy cheap, you get crap service, always worth paying the little extra, its not all about price, same as buying in matalan, you know your buying shite, you always get what you pay for.

How did you pay for the goods? Paypal or Credit Card (?100+) would give you some consumer rights.

I've ordered from dvbseller a few times but fortunately have never had to return a unit.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Thanks for the information. I paid by paypal but I though they weren't interested in counterfeit goods purchased outside of ebay? Anyone know please...

returned 2 faulty 500s boards to them(out of an order of 2), had to bombard them with mail to get there! They first sent me mails saying they had received items, then when i enquired on progress they denied ever getting them, but shoving his own mail back in his face, they played ball again and sent the replacements.
After sales service is not great and i would stay well clear of them now!
                      Whatever!!

you are still in the time frame required to get paypal to investigate, just make a complaint to them about dvbseller, the will put a hold on funds, and you should have a 50/50 chance of getting money back or a replacement.

ive order a lot of dvbseller personally. And sent some back and had them all replaced.

I speak to them at least once a week and I know they will bend over backwards for me to continue shopping with them. I only deal with Simon as hes the only one, with good english & which gets anything done. Simon I beleive is at the factory and looks after the dispatches/returns. So if your having problems speak to Simon via his email or livechat. I've got him on msn & direct email.

If any memeber of this forum want me to give them a kick up the butt, pm me your details and I'll get you an update.
