I came to this forum to learn something new---cable, although I have a lot of knowledge within the satellite game,cable was new to me.
I got frustrated when I first got a DB500c and tried to set it up with the great assistance from members here and couldn't do it---why? the box was no-good.
So I got a new replacement and tried again following all the guides and yes, it worked, I then erased the image and reinstalled many times until I think I can do it blindfolded--

So now I wish to really thank all the members who helped me expand my knowledge by being so ready to impart their knowledge to me, a complete outsider, whom they have never met or contacted.
