    BT Vision Box

Mates just moved to Sky so I got his old box, is there anything that can be done to these boxes?

I know these will only work with BT Broadband and not even work as a Freeview box i beleive? Be good if anyone knew any tips/tricks to get around this or anything about these box's

    Cheers

RIP the 160 GB harddrive out of it, open nearest window, throw out, shut window quick before it lands.

    OR

Remove the 160GB hard drive, open nearest window and BOOT out, close window asap.

Had 5 of these now, great for storing 'little programmes' from DK awesome.

You can't do anything with them, without inserting coin, unless somebody says differant

Oh worth ripping out the (think) 5 volt fan for your cable box that over heats

This, I work for BT and have a few kicking around as doorstops. Seems to be their best function.

I am sure i read somewhere that you could get a chip for the box it didnt unlock payed content but it did allow you to use the box as a freeview pvr without the broadband connection and view youtube. I am sure they were working on getting the box to stream from pc but that was some time ago.
