backtrack 4 is shite.. no-one uses dictionary passwords these days and everytime i tried a brute force attack the router reset and the info was lost..

i ended up just asking if i could leech for a ?5 a month

Crap for wpa / wpa2 ... the dictionary attack relies on you having the exact password in your list (slim chance there) brute force would take forever even with a real power house...

However wep can be done real easy (i can not believe how many still use it)

A dictionary attack is just a list of words (does not have to be literally in the dictionary) still the chances are slim, i have fair few wep keys from around me.

My tm600 is connected to 1 (they even left the default password on the router so i could set up a dyndns account )
