    SKY Anytime+ Service CON

Just phoned SKY to get their Anytime+ service on HD box,
I have 2 hd boxes on multiroom subscription and got told by SKY I also need SKY Broadband to get ANYTIME+.
I tried explaining to them I have Unlimited 50mb Fibre Optic Broadband, but they insist you need SKY Broadband,
I also asked do you provide 50mb Broadband? the answer was NO, So said why would I want to downgrade my Broadband to your 20mb BB, to which they replied to get SKY ANYTIME+.

I then give up and said I will not get ANYTIME+ then

To which the SKY agent replied could I help you with anything else like adding any extra channel's GRRRRRRRR

I then said are you taking the piss and put phone down

They will allow other Broadbands to connect to it soon the reason there telling you that you have to have sky broadband is that its a new service and there watching to see how well it works with there system see what bugs and issues happen before they open it up to other networks its unfortunate at the moment but wont be long before you can have it

      Thank you for that information.

Maybe they should tell their staff that, so when they speak to customers they could explain rather than annoy their customers

that info was given to staff there not ment to tell anyone

technically speaking as long as someone in sky adds the sky anytime + to your account you can use any bb to connect to it...except bb connect because they cant use it

but no sky agent will add it to ur account unless you have bb with sky..tis a nightmare but as i said wont be long til they release it to other networks
