Need Help built in oven

We have a whirlpool AKZ650 Oven. 2days ago our Area had a Power Cut lasted about 30 mins. SINCE THEN a Red light is flashing all the time indicating its want to go into the Self clean mode.Is there any Washing Machine Engineers who can help to cancel this ANNOYING red light. My wife will not use the oven until i get this light to go off. I have 4 page description sheet but this is NO help. Thanks to anyone who may have the solution.

have you let it run through the self clean cycle? cant find any instructions for specific model, maybe these will help

Press and hold stop/canecel for a few seconds. Select short spin, pres start, and stand back

I have just read my post again I still dont know why i wrote washing machine instead of Oven. I am a Silly Billy.Todays dinner tasted really soapy. Cheers all.

Just a update about my Whirlpool Oven, pyro- clean red light has now cleared. HOW? Put the oven to Maximum temperture 250c degrees , when cooling down the niggling RED light WENT OUT. Yipee. End of this SAGA.

Did you try to 'correct' the number of cook's it has done?
