Question for hardware nerds:
So I have this project where I need to throw together a frequency/pulse generator from scrap hardware. Instead of making some cheezy circuit, I've decided to make it fairly programmable so I can use it for all sorts of things in the future. I recall that I have several old unloopers sitting around, and pretty much have things worked out.
Problem is that on my normal computer (laptop) I have no hardware serial ports and have to rely on a USB->serial dongle but the old XPF;asher software doesn't like it.
So, does anyone know of a software package that is Win7 friendly that will program an AT90S2313 / unlooper over a USB->Serial setup?
