I'm not in the habit of leaving negative feedback, but I'm fed up with these "smart" people getting away with it.

User Maurib26 promised me an ELV-off solution on a Porsche Cayenne that was 100% functional. He sent me a file that didn't work, costing me several days to fix other issues that had nothing to do with my problem. After spending time and money fixing the other DTCs and retrying his file, it still didn't work. He then disappeared without giving me any explanations and no longer responds to emails or PMs.
Of course, I sent the money in advance via PayPal.

However, nothing has been flagged with staff, and you did this off your own bat, having read the forum rules, of course

Until people start reporting others for this type of stuff, and providing evidence, there's nothing that will be happening

I'm not demanding any action against user Maurib26. I just want to warn other users.

Sounds like you've had a super frustrating experience with Maurib26. Did you try resolving the issue through PayPal since you paid via them?

I sent the money as "Friends and Family." Paypal doesn't help in this case.
