I am a newbie on here. I used to get my FW from another site that was recommended by the seller of my SV1.
I joined site as it looks easier to use.
When I first joined a forum, it was always being asked for people to contribute. I thought this meant they wanted a Paypal payment or similar.
Although that sort of payment would be welcome I dare say, I believe the contribution required is a post?
Is it just a nice freindly way to get to know people, or is there some other reason for this?
I would like to thank the many people that are about on this site for helping other people, and work hard at it for what seams, little reward.

I am also a newbie on here but have to say that only having to post 4 times before being able to download is excellent.
Most forums would expect you to post around 20 times before gaining any privilages. So a big thanks to Digital Kaos.
4 posts shouldn't be too hard for most people, in fact for some members it will be a small percentage of their daily input.

you have to play by the rules, after a while you begin to find out the regulars and maybe pick up one or two new friends.
