seascale is such a small place, when i was there i dint see any evidence of a bus service, let alone heavy traffic. any traffic would depend on the time of day you're travelling, whether it clashes with a shift change at the plant or whatnot. might want to allow yourself 45 - 50 mins for travelling to be on the safe side for your first trip, time yourself and then compensate accordingly for further trips. as for guesthouses, its a small town but there was a few places you could book a room. it was a few years ago i went and cheapest price i saw was ?55, might be looking about ?60-?65 minimum these days. I ended up staying with my ex's family in the end so exact prices or hotel reviews i cannot provide
