    PM to vow action on whiplash claims




    Britain has become "the whiplash capital of Europe", Number 10 said, with 1,500 claims a day for even the most minor accidents adding ?90 a year to the average bill.

    About time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those solicitors are cashing in more then the injured if you ask me No 10, it has to stop now???

      Pity he couldnt vow action on getting rid of that muslim cleric guy, or curbing the obscene bonuses the bankers get or curbing mps expenses which have risen again- Give us something we all really want.

        Pity that insurance premiums won't go down, still at least Dave will keep the insurance companies happy. From what I've read they find difficult to prove or disprove whiplash, only now even the genuine cases will find it more difficult if not impossible to claim. Bet the insurance premiums don't go down by the claimed ?70 it adds to the premiums of each person per year.

        Wonder which insurance company or underwriters Dave will get a directorship when he gets kicked out of office...
