Sometimes a punch line to a joke is so obvious it almost hurts to say it, and this was the case when a car crashed into a Specsavers shop front in Kent this weekend.
The opticians, known for its catchy advertising slogan, took a hit from a silver Ford in the high street in Sevenoaks on Sunday.
Onlooker Philip Holland told Metro he arrived at the scene at around 12.30pm, by which time two police officers were present, but there was no sign of any driver or ambulance crews.
