THOUSANDS of migrants look set to carry on getting child benefit ? despite it being snatched away from furious UK parents.
Around 30,000 foreigners working in Britain received payments totalling ?24million last year, even though their children remained back in their home countries.
Most were from eastern European countries such as Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.
Chancellor George Osborne is facing a backlash after abolishing the payments from 2013 for over a million higher tax rate earners.
But an EU ruling means migrants from member states can still claim.
Emma Boon, from the Taxpayers? Alliance, told the Daily Star: ?It?s maddening that these meddling EU judges can tell us where our money must go.
?We can?t afford to pay benefits to the whole of Europe.?
