Average pump prices for both petrol and diesel have continued to rise to new record highs.
Unleaded prices have risen by 0.5ppl from 128.3ppl to 128.8ppl. Diesel prices have also risen, by 1.2ppl, from 132.8ppl to 134.0ppl. The price difference between unleaded and diesel has risen to 5.2ppl.
Northern Ireland recorded the highest price for unleaded at 129.9ppl. Yorkshire and Humberside recorded the lowest price for unleaded at 127.8ppl. Northern Ireland recorded the highest diesel price at 135.0ppl. Yorkshire and Humberside have the cheapest diesel at 133.2ppl.
How can we protect ourselves from the persistent government? Where after promising the earth before we elect them into 'office', they then renege on those promises. After asking us to trust them, they then start to empty our bank accounts by raising petrol prices, food and VAT prices.
With the uprising in the Middle East countries we all have to ask our govt at what stage you will act before it?s to let. As far as I can say that time has run out.
