Need a little guidance regarding the Ipad, I'm kinda clueless as to the pro's and Cons of the device. Considering getting my son one for xmas, but if it's just basically a 10inch browser I fail to see the merits of paying ?399 when I could purchase a decent laptop for similar money that has much more merit. This is my basic view, but I am obviously open to enlightenment regarding the Ipad, I look forward to hearing from those for and against the device.
