how do i jailbreak a iphone 3, 4.2.1

hello i was looking for help jailbreaking my iphone 3 i had to restore my phone and now blackrain will not work with the 4.2.1 i have tryed to Downgrade on the software but i cant get this to work at all

u can't down grade now unless u saved sh files , wot baseband are u using ? and is it unlocked

sorry just found out what that ment it is 05.15.04

to unlock u have to add iPod base band 16.5 something like that , use redsnow and click cidia and iPod baseband it's the only way to unlock but u will lose gps tho then install ultrasnow to unlock

i cant get redsnow to work and i dont know were i am going wrong
